On September 29, 2026, at the Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Iraq, Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda, met with the President of the Republic of Iraq, His Excellency Nizar Muhammad Said Omidi.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan conveyed warm greetings and a message from the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to the President of the Republic of Iraq, emphasizing that Tajikistan attaches special importance to strengthening friendly relations and developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Iraq.

The Ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to continue a constructive dialogue and further strengthen friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Iraq.
