On October 31, 2025, on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training of Pakistan, Ms. Wajiha Qamar took place.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues related to relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan, particularly the possibilities for developing cooperation within the framework of UNESCO in the fields of education and culture.
