April 5 Lawyers’ Day Message from Asfa Holding Chairman Asaf Atasoy

Asfa Holding Board Chairman, Philanthropist and Businessman Asaf Atasoy, published a message on the occasion of April 5th Lawyers’ Day.

Asfa Holding Board Chairman Asaf Atasoy included the following statements in his message;

Judicial independence cannot be discussed without “defense”, which is one of the basic and indispensable elements of the judiciary, which is built on the three basic elements of “Claim, Defense and Decision”, which are the prerequisites of a democratic state governed by the rule of law.

Lawyers are representatives of the right to defense. The legal profession has an important place in maintaining high levels of trust in law, equality and justice in society.

Our lawyers, who inform our citizens about their rights and guide them in protecting their rights, have undertaken important duties in the conduct of legal relations.

In our country, which is a state governed by the rule of law, lawyers provide a very important public service in protecting the rights of individuals and society as determined by law, within the principles of human rights and the rule of law.

With these thoughts, I congratulate “April 5th Lawyers’ Day” of all our lawyers, who are appreciated by our society for the duties and responsibilities they carry out in ensuring justice and fairness, and I wish them success in their professional lives, and offer my love and respect.
